Dinka came to us 22 years ago with multiple wounds , no hair , and scurvy . Fortunately her abusers gave her up . She has grown into a 22 yr old senior with lots of curly black & now silver hair. She is a magnet for children and allows her ears to be pulled with no complaints. She has a terrier’s tenacity and never gives up when she believes she’s correct but her gentle nature is just as strong . She brings comfort and unconditional love to all who stop and scratch her while being amazed at her lovely ears. She’s blind and deaf these days and not too steady on her feet. But her loving nature is still very much in tact and the Joy she brings offers us a great deal of comfort as we age with her ..
