Billie was rescued from a hoarding situation in the LA area. There were so many dogs, several organizations from all over the state were called upon to help. Billie, and about nine of his ‘evacuees,’ were lucky to land at Casa De Love Animal Rescue in Redding, California, a wonderful rescue! I remember that Billie and his group all moved together like a school of fish. They were very bonded to each other, but also very wary of people. Billie’s skittishness with me fell away in our first week together! He is the ‘Love Bug’ of my life, always in my waiting lap, always leaning and looking up at me with his big brown eyes. I call him my “muppet.”
