Originally from Colorado, Chuck moved to the Mendocino Coast in May, 2015, to take up the challenge of Executive Director of MCHS. After earning a Masters in zoology, he started his career at the Denver Dumb Friends League, then worked at the Denver Zoo for nine years. After an 11 year detour into geographic information systems that gave him experience in corporate and personnel management, Chuck took the opportunity to direct MCHS and live closer to the ocean. He and his wife have two daughters and two cats.
