Ava’s been a delight to get to know. She is so present and shows us her joy with her smiling and prancing and letting out deep sighs of ease.

When it’s time for a walk, she’s all in and grabs the leash in her mouth and heads for the door.

For the first six weeks, she would need help to get on the sofa, but her rear-leg strength and coordination have improved and now she hops up on her own.

She is also more vocal than initially, but her voice is so low and quiet so it makes us laugh.

Seeing her happy has brought us happiness. She’s a bundle of joy.

Never imagined adopting a senior dog, but we did and there are no regrets.

She must have been a super super cute puppy.
