Press Release: Mendocino Coast Humane Society Receives Banfield Foundation® Grant for Clinic Services

The Mendocino Coast Humane Society has been awarded a $5,000 Community Care Grant from Banfield Foundation®, a nonprofit committed to making preventative care possible for the pets that need it the most. The generous grant will support our lifesaving mission to protect the pets of coastal Mendocino County by funding the purchase of rabies, core vaccines, flea/tick prevention, and e-collars for owned animals at our veterinary clinic.

Our clinic at 19691 Summers Lane, Fort Bragg CA 95437 provides wellness exams, vaccinations, flea and tick control, microchipping, and spay/neuter by appointment Monday through Friday. To make an appointment, call (707) 964-SPAY.

All vaccines cost $25, flea control $20-25, microchips are $35, and spay/neuters vary in price depending on species and support from community partners.

Mendocino Coast Humane Society has been saving lives and serving community as a no-kill, community-supported shelter since 1987. Our public visitation hours are 12-5, Wednesday-Sunday, with volunteer orientations every first and third Sunday at 11am. We hope to see you at the shelter!
