Meet everyone’s favorite cross-eyed husky mix Loki! Loki has boundless energy, as is expected of a Husky mix, so he should go to a very active home with plenty of water; Loki LOVES to play in the water. A wading pool or sprinkler will keep him happily entertained for hours. In typical Husky fashion, Loki is very inquisitive, busy, headstrong, and independent. Loki must be kept occupied and tired, or he will find his own entertainment; your approval not required. Volunteers and staff have noted that Loki walks wonderfully on a leash, but wants to say hi to every dog he passes and will use his Husky howl to get their attention. Loki does not interact well with small dogs or cats, so he must go to a home with neither but does great with any person, including children of all ages. Otherwise, Loki does get along with most other dogs, given they are as big or bigger than him, but has a playstyle that some might consider rough. Loki would be a great addition to any family experienced with everything that comes with owning a Husky mix.
