Income Sources Fiscal Year 2005-2006

Income Sources

The majority of our support comes from our generous community and past adopters, Grantors and our Thrift Shop and the Ark.
The Board, Staff and Volunteers also work hard to create entertaining Fundraisers.

Program Expenses Fiscal Year 2005-2006

Program Expenses

Animal care and shelter operations are our largest expenditure.
By altering all of our animals and providing every animal with an Well-Care examine, our Medical Care costs have increased over prior years. We expect this to increase substantially in our next Fiscal Year; due to the expanded services provided by our Low Cost Spay / Neuter Clinic.

Animal Care & Shelter Expenses Fiscal Year 2005-2006

Animal Care and Shelter Expenses

Payroll and associated taxes are our largest expenditures. Salaries were increased during the year for most staff; to be competitive and to be more humane to our dedicated employees. Utilities were all very expensive, but a large part of this cost keeps our animals warm in the winter.

Total Expenses Fiscal Year 2005-2006

Fundraising Expenses

For every dollar we receive, over 99% goes to the shelter and care of homeless animals.
Our Staff has put forth every effort to conserve expenses that are not related to the care of our animals. Volunteers, generous donors, our staff and the Board donate time and items for Events and for the Animals.
